Minimal structure
Missing keys use implementation defaults:
{}This does not disable optimization: defaults still apply, including zstd region writes. Do not replace a complete production file with this and lose operator choices or required secrets. Fresh installs should keep the commented bundled file.
Migrate with Paper’s writer
feature-flags:
region-file-compression: false
tuning-preset: DEFAULTSet this before the old world is saved by Nusa if format rollback matters. It does not convert existing zstd chunks; read rollback limits.
A deliberately static lobby
feature-flags:
entity-behavior-switches: true
tuning-preset: HUBHUB stops five mechanics, including block ticks needed by farms. Use only when the preset effects fit your design. Network flags remain independent.
Isolate tracking or a mob type
feature-flags:
entity-tracking-culling: false
ai-precompute-queue:
exclude-mob-types: [minecraft:villager]These are two independent changes; test separately when diagnosing. The exclusion selects native target computation for villagers, not disabled villager AI.
Reserved world structure
defaults:
feature-flags: {}
worlds: {}Current modules use global settings. Do not assume world overrides are implemented. Merge partial examples into existing parents, back up, and restart. On errors restore the prior file and see invalid configuration.
